About Us

Cobham Sports Association (CSA) is the umbrella grouping for a number of sports played at the Old Surbitonians memorial ground.

The CSA looks after the pitches and has lead the re-development of the new clubhouse on behalf of all the members of the CSA.  The CSA has been re-branded 'Cobham Sports' .

In keeping with the requirement for additional sources of revenue from the clubhouse, we are in the process of hiring the venue to other users within the local community for the likes of pilates or social gatherings, for business conferences to weddings and other celebrations.

It's a fine location for all to use and providing a quality location for commercial hire. To this end the commercial use of the clubhouse will be under the branding 'The Club @ Cobham Sports'.

That said, sport comes first at Cobham - the aim is to dovetail the commercial use of the facilities when sport is not played.

Background

The new Cobham Sports Association Ltd was incorporated as a company, limited by members guarantee, on October 3rd 2006.

At an EGM held on November 27th 2006 the members of CSA Ltd agreed to take over all the activities of the "Old Association" and also accepted the transfer of all the assets, liabilities and beneficial ownership of the freehold land.
